Mr. gunst lost me when I read that "A devotee of the Objectivist philosophy espoused by Ayn Rand – his shopping center has a statue of Atlas holding up the globe, reminiscent of Rand’s masterpiece, “Atlas Shrugged”...". Anyone in their right mind who is a devotee of Ayn Rand is not to be trusted. She was a crazed reactionary against the communists who took over Russia and ruined her picturesque life. And like a child she saw the world only as black and white. Since the communists took away her family's privileged lifestyle they must have been horrible and any reason for their takeover must be invalid. And the opposite of communism, free-market anarchy, must be right.

I find it interesting that Mr. Gunst likes to blame government officials for Innsbrook's failure to change. Yet the article says these same government officials "gave Innsbrook property owners what they wanted. But it wasn’t enough to stimulate development." Perhaps there are other reasons why Innsbrook Next hasn't taken effect. Maybe developers are considering closer in areas for development first. Maybe Innsbrook just has to wait its turn.
